Preparation

1.

Preheat your oven to 200°C / 400°F. Place the French Crusty Rolls on an oven rack and bake for 10–12 minutes. Once baked, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for 5–10 minutes.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan. Brown the chicken strips for 5 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper.

Thinly slice the aubergine, cucumber and red onion, and finely grate the carrot.

4.

Spread a thin layer of barbecue (American) sauce on both the top and bottom halves of the Crusty Rolls.

Place 3–4 slices of cucumber on the bottom half of each roll. Add the cooked chicken pieces, grated carrot, then finish with a few pieces of red onion and aubergine.

6.

Replace the top of the roll and close the mini burger.
