Preparation

Preheat your oven to 200°C / 400°F. Place the Crusty Rolls on an oven rack and bake for 10–12 minutes. Once baked, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for 5–10 minutes.

Peel the garlic and crush it using a garlic press. Peel and finely chop the shallot.
3.
Finely chop the fresh chives.
4.
In a bowl, mix together the whipped cream cheese, chives, shallot, garlic and lemon juice.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.
6.
Generously spread this flavourful mixture over the Crusty Rolls. Your aperitif is ready!
